The Ministry of Agriculture announces subsidies for several categories of farmers. Each beneficiary can receive up to 1.5 million lei. For associations of water users for irrigation, the ceiling reaches 3 million lei. Applicants can submit their applications starting from February 3, IPN reports.

Financial support can be requested for measures to encourage access to investment loans or working capital, promote activities, and stimulate the use of irrigation systems.

Additionally, subsidies can be requested for the development of organic farming, implementation of good agricultural practices, deforestation of perennial plantations, agricultural advisory and training services, and more.

Assistance is granted for eligible costs incurred starting from October 1 of the year preceding the application submission. The application submission period will end on September 30, 2025.
