Fairs with martsishors – amulets worn on the chest to mark the coming of spring - souvenirs and flowers will work between February 10 and March 10 in all the districts of the capital city and in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau, IPN reports.

The municipal authorities’ initiative is related to the holidays of the following period, namely: Valentine's Day, Dragobete, Martsihsor and March 8. Garden flowers will also be sold in the districts, in addition to the traditional martsishors and accessories.

For the marketing process to be efficiently organized, the district head’s offices agreed a list of locations, which can be consulted on the website of the Chisinau City Hall.

For craftspeople, the fairs are an opportunity to promote their creations. Hundreds of people visit the fairs every year. The municipal authorities encourage both the inhabitants of the capital city and its guests to explore the local fairs and thus support local producers.
