Spring edition of Moldagrotech returns to Chisinau

After a pause of three years, the exhibition Moldagrotech will be again staged at the Exhibitions Center “Moldexpo”. The spring edition will bring together over 120 participants from eight countries, which will exhibit agricultural machinery, seeds, crop protection chemicals during March 16-19. An area with natural soil and living plants titled “Grow in Moldova” will be set up in the center of the pavilion. The exhibition is accompanied by the traditional Plantlets and Seedlings Fair, IPN reports.

Vasile Șarban, secretary of state at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, said that agriculture cannot be developed without modern technologies and equipment. “This exhibition is intended for the agricultural producers of the Republic of Moldova, for input and machinery suppliers and also for the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the Government of the Republic of Moldova, where we can promote those policies, possibilities of developing agriculture. We want a lot this event to bring together the agricultural producer and the supplier for these to cooperate,” stated the functionary.

The current exhibition will present different makes of agricultural machinery, state-of-the-art technology in all the areas, such as irrigation and water supply and soil amelioration, and also equipment for hothouses, packing, transporting, storage and other types of equipment. The program also includes seminars, roundtable meetings and presentations of agricultural machines.

In support of young specialists from the field of agricultural engineering, a conference entitled “Agrogeneration will be held as part of the exhibition. The best students of the Moldova Technical University will present thematic reports on the current tendencies in the field.
