The spring cleanup campaign in the capital city begins next week. Until the middle of April, the municipal subdivisions, assisted by dwellers, will clean the yards of apartment buildings, parks and other public places, IPN reports.
In the March 2 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, the head of the Public Amenities Division Ion Burdiumov said an order to start the spring cleanup was drafted and relevant proposals were meanwhile collected from representatives of district head’s offices. When it is signed, the order will be circulated to all the municipal subdivisions and housing sector managing companies.
According to the functionary, over 350 persons worked daily to clean public areas last week. These were assisted by Hako machines and tractors that transported over 130 trucks of solid waste.
