A specialized commission will make on Tuesday, 13 June, the technical expertise of the trolleybus line toward the State Agricultural University and will decide, this week, upon its opening, the deputy head of Transport and Communications Department, Alexei Varlan, announced about this on Monday at the operative meeting of the mayoralty. According to him, until now the specialized services made all the works for launching the trolleybus line: the road was built, the control point, parking station, dispatcher office, and illumination network. Interim mayor Vasile Ursu mentioned that, even if he promised the opening of this line on 1 June, the deadline was not respected, as the municipality included later into the project fitting out works of the circle at Petricani and Mihai Viteazul streets crossing. At the same time, he required to specialized services to finish the repairing works of the road on the streets Petricani and Mircesti till the end of the week. As the head of the Municipal Transport and Communications Department, Veaceslav Tarna, noted previously, it is planned that the trolleybus line uniting the center of Chisinau with the Agricultural University will be nr. “29” and at first 4 trolleybuses will circulate on this way. According to him, the fitting works in this region will continue after the opening of the trolleybus line. For example stopping slides and fitting the nearby territories.
