Special gratis health assistance to be offered at the prosthesis center
The Republican Experimental Center for Prosthesis, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation (RECPOR) will sign until the end of this year a contract with the National Insurance Company in Medicine for offering medical free of charge assistance to medical insurance owners.
According to the head of RECPOR, Vasili Ouatu, the two mentioned-above institutions are negotiating the way services will be offered and the list of free services to be provided by RECPOR, of which the patients from the country will benefit, supplementary to the ones registered at the center.
Ouatu declared for Info-Prim Neo that the possibility to offer to all the patients from the country RECPOR medical services appeared when the modern equipments of 2.4 million USD where donated by the People’s Republic of China.
At present, the medical insurance is not valid within RECPOR. Over 82.5 thousand patients are registered at RECPOR, inclusively invalids and veterans. For serving them, 38 doctors, 49 medical assistances, 46 hospital nurses work there. Ouatu mentioned that supplementary are served patients which receive 18-days treatment tickets from the National House of Social Insurances.
According to the director of the polyclinic from RECPOR, Dumitru Moscalenco, the centre is autonomous and offers medical assistance in accordance with a price list approved by the Government. For I and II degree invalids all the services provided by the center are free of charge and war veterans have discounts of 50%.
