Some pavilions in the public transport waiting stations could be demolished
The Urbanism and Architecture Management (UAM) from the Chisinau municipality could propose the demolition of the pavilions from the public transport waiting stations in the case the Management will find out that these stations do not correspond to the norms of functioning.
The chief of UAM, Nicon Zaporojan, declared, on Monday within the frameworks of an operative meeting, that at the moment the specialists analyze the created situation and will forward/submit to the Mayoralty proposals in order to make the situation better
Mr. Zaporojan declared, that in conformity with the previous information, the situation of approximate 40% of the pavilions from municipality is disastrous and in the case their demolition will be decided, UAM will propose the examination of the projects for other locations of the pavilions that would be more attractive from the esthetical and functional point of view. He also said that the Mayoralty mustn’t admit the change of their destination, in the conditions when many owners of these pavilions reduced the space predestined for the wait of public transport in the favour of the commercial one. The cases when the owners dodge from the territory salubrity works are frequent as well.
UAM examines the situation of the public transport waiting station pavilions together with the subterranean passage, which are as well in a deplorable situation. In the cases of the subterranean passing, UAM plan to elaborate some proposals for the improvement of the situation, inclusively of arrangement and salubirization, even the elimination of the cases of floods and blocking with snow.
