The Party of Socialists agreed to have discussions with the Bloc ACUM. The meeting is held in the Parliament Building behind closed doors and involves the leaders of the two entities, IPN reports.
According to Socialist MP Gaik Vartanean, the PSRM at the discussions is represented by the Socialist leader Zinaida Grecheanyi and MPs Ion Ceban and Vlad Batrîncea.
The discussions also involve the two co-presidents of the Bloc ACUM Maia Sandu and Andrei Năstase. The information was confirmed for IPN by MP Radu Marian.
The discussions are held behind closed doors and statements for the press are to be made after it.
The leaders of the Bloc ACUM on June 3 issued a new invitation to negotiations to the Party of Socialists. The Socialists are expected to come to discussions on June 4 at 9am or at any other hour at which they are disposed to discuss. By such discussions, the representatives of ACUM want to persuade the PSRM to commit itself to a common fight against the oligarchic system and to establishing the rule of law in Moldova. Earlier, the Democratic Party also invited the PSRM to discussions.
