Socialist parliamentary group says it was most active one in Parliament of tenth legislature

The parliamentary group of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) says it was the most active one in the Parliament of the tenth legislature. According to the PSRM, even if the period was rather difficult, during two years the group put forward over 200 legislative proposals, 130 of which were adopted. The results of the parliamentary activity and the actions of the election campaign were disused in the May 20 meeting of the group, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the party.

According to the leader of the PSRM Igor Dodon, most of the legislative proposals formulated by the Socialists referred to the social support for the population, especially the vulnerable categories. “It is the only group that entered Parliament with 35 MPs. The number then rose by two after the snap elections held in constituencies. The Socialist group proved its unity throughout the parliamentary mandate,” said the Socialist leader.

Igor Dodon noted the electoral Block of the Communists and the Sociologists will restore the people’s confidence in tomorrow. The citizens will see a team of professionals who will speak not about politics, but about the distribution of posts and the people’s interests. The debates between the election contenders should be held on concrete themes so that the people see who and what can do.
