From September 1, the small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) can submit applications to get financing for purchasing production equipments within the program to support and develop the SME sector for promoting the efforts to make structural economic adjustments. The program, launched by the Ministry of Economy, is financed with money from the Partner Fund of the Japanese Grant with a total budget of 7 million lei, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué of the Ministry of Economy, through the agency of the program the entrepreneurs will be able to purchase production equipment in leasing for a period of one year, without security. The leasing interest rate is zero. A zero value added tax is put on the purchased equipment, while the customs procedures are facilitated.
The beneficiaries will pay only the price of equipment in several installments. The advance is 25% of its price. Under the leasing contract, if the beneficiaries pay 60% of the price of the equipment, 40% of its price is offered by the Government of Moldova as a grant.
The applications to seek financing must refer to purchases of minimum 500,000 lei and at most 1 million lei and be submitted between September 1 and 19 to the Implementation Unit of the Grant Provided by the Government of Japan, based at MD-2004, Chisinau 180 Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd, office 812 a.
