The parliamentary group of the Democratic Party (PDM) has six new members. These are Nae Simion Plesca, Vladimir Hotineanu, Nicolae Juravski, Angel Agachi, Ion Balan and Petru Stirbate, the party’s deputy chairman, Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu announced after the April 10 meeting of the PDM, IPN reports.
“Six new colleagues, who are members of Moldova’s Parliament, took part in today’s meeting of the PDM. During the past year, we have cooperated with them very well within the parliamentary alliance,” stated Andrian Candu, noting that the PDM’s potential is thus realized, including in the legislative body.
A month ago, the Democratic parliamentary group unanimously decided to accept the 14 MPs of the Social-Democratic Platform into its ranks.
Now that the former Liberal-Democratic MPs joined the Democratic group, this will consist of 40 MPs of the 101 who form Moldova’s Parliament.
