Officers of the Security and Intelligence Service (SIS) will be detached to work at ministries and local public authorities, acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega announced in the opening of the December 9 meeting of the interim Cabinet, IPN reports.
“Don’t bother. This is not a novelty. We have enough informers in ministries and other bodes. We should do this officially, as the law requires. There are cases of corruption and bribe taking in our ministries and the SIS officers will help identify these cases by using their experience and special means,” stated Gheorghe Brega.
These SIS officers will be paid from the budget of the Security and Intelligence Service, not of the institutions where they will work.
