The Cabinet decided to initiate the negotiation and signing of the Administrative Arrangement between the Ministry of the Interior of Moldova and the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany on the application of a simplified procedure on the readmission of Moldovan citizens who stay illegally in Germany, IPN reports.

The Administrative Arrangement is an inter-institutional treaty that envisions the issuing by the competent German authorities of European travel documents of the Laissez-Passer type for repatriation.

The German authorities, at least three days before the planned repatriation measures, are to issue the list of repatriated persons to the Ministry of the Interior of Moldova. The sides agreed that at least150 persons will be repatriated by one round, 80 of whom will be identified within the simplified procedure.

The Administrative Arrangement will be valid for a year and could be extended with the written consent of the sides.
