Connected for the first time to StarNet’s free Wi-Fi, the National Specialized School of Equestrianism and Modern Pentathlon is organizing the Open Show Jumping Championship this weekend. People are invited to watch the spectacular display of equestrian mastery and enjoy the free Wi-Fi from StarNet, reads a press release of the company.
Show jumping is a classic equestrian discipline in which the rider and his horse must jump over obstacles with heights of 90 to 140 cm, without knocking down the bars. The participants are riders aged 12-40 on purebred horses, which the fans of this sport can admire in all their splendor.
“For the National Specialized School of Equestrianism and Modern Pentathlon this Championship is an important step in the preparation for national and international competition and towards the improvement of our riders’ mastery. We are glad to have StarNet Company’s support in the organization of the Championship and we are trying to promote equestrianism in Moldova”, said the school director Petru Moisei.
“StarNet is happy to open a free Wi-Fi zone at the Equestrian School, thus offering the visitors, the public who come to watch the contests, the school teachers and riders free access to Internet, to socialization and communication. We think this is a special way to publicize this sport”, said Alexei Munteanu, marketing director at StarNet.
According to Irina Ghelbur of StarNet’s PR Department, the company will support the Open Championship and will award the winners of the show jumping competition. This contest will be followed by the dressage competition on July 27-28, which will offer the public a unique display of equestrian elegance.
