Sheriff won a 2-1 victory against the champion of Turkmenistan Altyn Asyr in a friendly match played in turkey, IPN reports.
The goals for the team from Tiraspol were scored by Maxim Cojocaru and newcomer Robert Tampe. Tampe transformed a penalty kick from Ukrainian player Andrei Bliznichenko.
On March 10, Sheriff meets Milsami in Moldova’s Football Super Cup. The new National Division season starts on March 16.
