Sheriff Tiraspol won the first victory in the current season of the National Division. On August 11, the yellow-blacks beat Rapid Ghidighici 2-0 in a third stage match. Brazil’s Cadu and Henrique Luvannor scored for Sheriff towards the end of the game, IPN reports.

Vice champion Dacia Chisinau defeated Veris Chisinau 3-1. Maxim Mihaliov scored two goals for the winners. The yellow wolves played the first match at home, on the stadium in Speia village.

FC Tiraspol won against Milsami1-0 in Orhei, owing to the goal scored by Ukraine’s Ievgen Zarichniuk. Now FC Tiraspol shares the first position with Zimbru Chisinau.

The other matches of the stage ended as follows: Olimpia - FC Costuleni 0-1, Academia - Zimbru 0-3, Speranta - Dinamo-Auto 1-1.
