Several edifices in Chisinau built by Turks
While thousands of men from the Republic of Moldova abandoned their houses and families to earn money at the Russian constructions, several edifices in Chisinau are being built by Turks.
According to the Press Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, due to a raid performed at the building sites of Chisinau municipality by the Department of Illegal Migration Fighting, were discovered 20 Turk citizens employed illegally. At the building site of an edifice on Sfatul Tarii Street were discovered 17 citizens of Turkey, that were performing concrete-related works, shuttering and welding without work authorization on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. At the building site on Studentilor Street were discovered other three Turks, who, as well did not have legal contracts.
Monthly, the mentioned workers were paid 400-600 USD, being ensured with food, transport and accommodation.
At present, official reports were instituted to the Turk citizens according to the 192 (2) article of the Code on Administrative Contraventions of the Republic of Moldova and were submitted to the Court for examination.
According to the legislation in force, breaking the employment rules related to the foreign citizens or stateless persons is liable to fines from 600 to 1000 lei. In the case of persons with responsible positions is applied a fine from 4000 to 5000 lei.
