The girl aged seven from Recea village of Râșcani district was found dead in a deserted home in the locality. The police said that two men suspected of murdering the child were arrested, IPN reports.

“Two men suspected of killing the girl were arrested by the police. Police officers are taking all the investigative and operational measures at the scene,” said the General Police Inspectorate.

The police announced that the seven-year-old girl left home at about 6pm on Monday. The police in northern Moldova mobilized and throughout night conducted search operations. The efforts to find the girl continued on Tuesday with all the available means, including drones and search dogs.
