Unaffiliated lawmaker Sergiu Sirbu said that he is not afraid of early elections and does not keep to his seat. He has told Info-Prim Neo that he decided how to vote in Parliament on March 5, but will not make public his decision yet.
“I took the decision and I know how I will vote if nothing unordinary happens in the debate process. I mean the Premier can come and tender his resignation,” he stated.
Sergiu Sibu also said that he has reasons to vote for the Government’s dismissal, but does not want to play the Communists’ game. “My decision will be in the people’s interests. It was influenced by no one and is based on my own conviction,” he stated.
In the March 5 sitting, the MPs will debate a censure motion against the Government proposed by the Communist faction.
