Sergiu Kleshchenko announces lineupfor friendlies against Azerbaijan and Romania

Moldovan manager Sergiu Kleshchenko has announced the lineup for the friendly matches against Azerbaijan and Romania that are to be played in Chisinau on November 16 and November 20 respectively, IPN reports.

The lineup is: Cristian Avram, Dorian Railean, Dumitru Celeadnic – goalkeepers; Igor Armaș, Veaceslav Posmac, Ion Jardan, Vadim Bolohan, Oleg Ryabchuk, Artur Craciun, Ioan-Călin Revenco, Daniel Dumbravanu, Iurie Iovu – fullbacks; Artur Ionița, Sergiu Platica, Vadim Rața, Eugeniu Cociuc, Mihail Caimacov, Cristian Dros, Mihail Platica, Nichita Moțpan, Victor Stînă, Serafim Cojocari – halfbacks; Ion Nicolaescu, Vitalie Damașcan, Maxim Cojocaru, Marius Iosipoi, Virgiliu Postolachi, Nicky Kleshchenko – strikers.

The two matches are a preparatory stage for the national football team of Moldova for the qualifying competition of the 2024 European Championships. Moldova competes in Group E, alongside Poland, the Czech Republic, Albania and the Faroe Islands. On March 24, 2023, it plays the first match at home, against the Faroe Islands.
