The first matches of the semifinals of Moldova’s basketball championship have been played, IPN reports.
In Chisinau, Gamma Cahul won dramatically against Speranta. At a certain moment, Gamma was 16 points ahead of Speranta, but ultimately won at a difference of only one point, 86-85.
In the other semifinal, Basco Balti defeated at home BC Rybnitsa 94-66. Vladimir Colesnicov of Basco scored 26 points. The next matches will be played on March 11.
