Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus will conduct a familiarization visit to Moldova on June 24-25, 2015. In his capacity, Secretary Mabus is responsible for the United States Marine Corps, which is an integral part of the bilateral U.S.-Moldovan defense relationship, IPN reports.
The visit will include meetings with Moldovan government officials to discuss issues related to bilateral cooperation and regional security. During his trip, Secretary Mabus is also visiting Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bosnia, and Kosovo.
