Prosecutors are conducting searches at the home of the former head of the Buiucani Police Inspectorate Lilian Pascaru. The information was confirmed for IPN by Mariana Cherpec, press officer of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Lilian Pascaru is investigated in a criminal case started over filing of a fraudulent tax return, which is regulated by the Penal Code.
