Two women traveling on scooters as passengers have been injured in traffic accidents. According to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, an accident occurred on Calea Orheiului Street. The 19-year-old female passenger of a scooter fell from the unit of transport when it stopped suddenly at the traffic lights. The other accident happened at the intersection of Ismail and Columna streets. The scooter crashed into a Toyota car. Both of the women suffered injuries. A minor girl aged 17 tried to kill herself by cutting her veins. She was taken to the hospital and given first aid. A 47-year-old woman decided to scare her family and took a large number of pills for treating tuberculosis. A Dacia, a 1447 taxi cab and an Audi collided at midnight on Decebal Blvd. The taxi driver sustained a concussion, contusion of the thorax and the internal organs and was rushed to the Emergency Hospital. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance doctors responded to 705 calls, dealing with 6 strokes, 18 deliveries and 145 cases of diseases in children.
