SA Termocom takes measures to mitigate consequences of thermo-energy crisis
SA Termocom has announced measures aimed at alleviating the consequences of the thermo-energy crisis, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the company.
It was ordered that since Thursday afternoon the temperature of the heat be reduced to about 600 Celsius. The norm is 850 Celsius. The hot water supply in the municipality of Chisinau was halted also from Thursday afternoon. The measures will enable SA Termocom to save 15% of the consumed natural gas.
The thermoelectric plants SA CET-1 and SA CET-2 will work on crude oil. If need be, the thermoelectric plants that belong to SA Termocom will also shift to crude oil during the next days.
SA Termocom assures that all the necessary measures will be taken to protect the thermoelectric system until the international gas dispute is solved and to reduce the effects of the gas crisis.
