Russian President says that relations in energy with Moldova will be based on market economy principles
The relations in the energetic field between the R. of Moldova and Russia will be built on the basis of market economy principles, with satisfying the interest of both participants, Russian president Vladimir Putin, declared within the frameworks of a meeting with his counterpart Vladimir Voronin.
According to the Presidency’s Press Service, Putin expressed his hope that, very soon, specialists in the energetic domain from the Russian Federation and the R. of Moldova will reach an agreement. “I have all the reasons to presume that negotiations will finish successfully in shortest time”, Vadimir Putin said, specifying that he agreed with Vladimir Voronin upon the principles which would mediate these issues.
Voronin affirmed that the Moldovan part worked out several investment projects, which will be proposed to the Russian company “Gazprom” in order to make common investments in the development of the energetic sector of the R. of Moldova.
Referring to the issue of the re-launching Moldovan wine exports to Russia, Vladimir Voronin mentioned that the Moldovan part operated a series of measures aimed at ensuring the quality of the products. The president emphasized upon the fact that a state enterprise has been formed, which is specialized in quality control and certifying agricultural products including Moldovan wines, in conformity with the European standards. “A revision of the entire wine sector has been operated”, Vladimir Voronin specified.
Head of state emphasized upon the fact that by maintaining, together with Russian specialists, a permanent control over the Moldovan production quality, states will contribute to the improvement of the situation in this sense and provide consumers from the Russian Federation high quality wines and agricultural products.
