Russia simplifies customs procedure for examining Moldovan agrifood products

Five special checkpoints for Moldovan products were set up in Russia. The goods there will be subject to a simplified customs and phytosanitary examination procedure so as to reduce the time needed for clearance, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the National Food Safety Agency, the simplified procedure obliges the Moldovan companies to have greater responsibility for the quality of goods.

The Moldovan products will be exported to Russia under a special phytosanitary and veterinary inspection regime through the following Russian customs posts – Novozybkovo in Bryansk region, Borovsk in Kaluga region, Cernogolovka in Moscow region, Lvov in Moscow region, and Kiev in Moscow region.
