Russia gives Moldova fuel oil as humanitarian aid
Russia will offer Moldova fuel oil as humanitarian aid, Ria Novosti Agency reports, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
“At the meeting of Dmitry Medvedev and Vladimir Voronin, it was decided that Russia will offer Moldova 50 thousand tonnes of fuel oil. The deliveries will be made one of these days,” Russian president’s assistant Sergei Prikhodko said after the meeting of those two presidents.
According to Prikhodko, the main purpose of these deliveries is to offer Moldova assistance, including in unfolding the spring activities.
Prikhodko mentioned that Voronin and Medvedev had thoroughly discussed aspects about extending the bilateral cooperation, paying special attention to extending the trade and economic relations.
On March 18, Vladimir Voronin pays a visit to Moscow, where the leader of the Tiraspol administration, Igor Smirnov, has been since Saturday. Media wrote that on this day a meeting between those three leaders may take place, at which the Transnistrian conflict settlement would be discussed.
