The Romanian voters who have the place of residence or the domicile abroad and want to take part in the future parliamentary elections can ask to be included in the Electoral Register starting with April 1, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau.

The inclusion of the voters in the Register is an important pace needed for exercising the right to vote in this year’s parliamentary elections following amendments made to the electoral legislation and the introduction of postal voting.

The registration period ends about three months before the election date, which is yet to be set.
