On Friday, June 29, Romanian Prime Minister Calin Popescu-Tariceanu will pay an official visit to Moldova. The Official will be accompanied by a group of businessmen from Romania. The Prime Minister’s official agenda includes a meeting with the Moldovan prime minister, followed by a plenary session of the two official delegations. After that, Calin Popescu-Tariceanu and Vasile Tarlev will make press statements. The Romanian Prime Minster will also participate in the Business Forum, to take place at the Republic Palace. In the afternoon, Tariceanu will meet President Vladimir Voronin. Earlier, the Bucharest media wrote that the Romanian prime minister, who is also the leader of the Romanian National-Liberal Party, would also meet with the new Chisinau mayor Dorin Chirtoaca.
