A team of doctors and medical staff from Romania will travel to Moldova to help the hospitals, medical personnel and doctors here to better cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, President Klaus Iohannis was quoted by IPN as saying in a press briefing.

Also, Romania will provide face masks, sanitary and protection materials and medicines from the Romanian state’s reserve so as to help the citizens to easier overcome the pandemic.

According to Klaus Iohannis, the measures are taken because the situation in the Republic of Moldova is difficult and Romania considers itself a very important partner, probably even the most important partner of the Republic of Moldova.
