Romania will provide support to the Republic of Moldova to adjust the national legislation to the legislation of the European Union. The issue was discussed in a joint meeting of the legal commissions of Moldova’s Parliament and the Senate of Romania, IPN reports.
The participants in the meeting discussed the ensuring of free movement of legal specialists, especially lawyers and judicial experts, and the opportunity of implementing a legal education project in educational institutions.
The third joint meeting of the legal commission for appointments and immunities of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the commission for legal matters, appointments, discipline, immunities and validations of the Senate of Romania was held in Bucharest.
The given political dialogue was initiated in 2022. So far the members of the two commissions had meetings in Chisinau and in Iasi.
