Romania offers 850 scholarships and 150 fee-free places in lyceums
The Ministry of Education and Research from Romania offers the young people from the Republic of Moldova of Romanian origin 850 scholarships and 150 fee-free places.
According to the Educational Offer of the Romanian Government, published in Chisinau press, from those 850 scholarships 740 are for the 9th class graduates who hold a certificate of gymnasium studies graduation in the Republic of Moldova, 2006 graduates, from which 50 for the graduates from localities situated in the East. Meanwhile, 60 scholarships are offered to the graduates of the 8th class in Romania, year 2006, who passes the national tests for lyceum studies admission. 50 scholarships are planned for citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who graduated in 2006 the 8th and 10th class in Romanian lyceums with general minimum grade 7,00 and who studied without a scholarship.
According to the Offer, those 150 fee-free places will be offered for superior lyceum classes.
The admission file includes the application, the copy of the gymnasium studies certificate issued by the Republic of Moldova or the copy of the certificate that shows the passing of Romanian national tests, the grade roll, the copy of birth certificate, the written agreement of one of the parents, medical certificate, and photographs.
In the admission process the 8th form graduates from Romania have a priority. The places that will remain vacant from the ones planned for the young people from the Republic of Moldova, the graduates of the 8th form from Romania or the 9th form from the East localities of the Republic of Moldova will be offered to the candidates that graduated gymnasium studies in the Republic of Moldova.
The Romanian Government approved 1250 study places for the young people from the Republic of Moldova of Romanian origin as well as from neighboring countries or those who migrated to other countries.
