A 22 year old man died in a car accident on the M14 road, on the outskirts of the Balti Municipality. The tragedy happened after the collision between a car and a motorcycle, IPN reports.
Uliana Catan, press officer of the National Patrol Inspectorate, said that the young man was a passenger on the bike driven by a 19 year old. Both were from Rascani district. The bike crashed into a car going from Balti to Sangerei. The car driver is a 27 year old man from Chisinau, who didn't require medical attention.
The bike driver was taken to the Balti Municipal Hospital by a SMURD team from the 2nd Search and Rescue Squad.
According to a preliminary version, the cause of the accident was the excessive speed of the motorcycle.
