Workers have intervened in the capital following last night's snowfall. Ice has formed in certain areas, and the risk persists. According to the General Directorate for Housing and Communal Services, snow removal is being carried out both manually and mechanically using specialized equipment, IPN reports.
A total of 41 pieces of equipment with brushes and blades have been deployed, including 10 Hako units, 14 Avant units, and 27 tractors.
Seventy-five employees from municipal housing service companies are working on-site.
Interventions are taking place on sidewalks, access routes to underground passages and social institutions, as well as at public transport stops.
Additionally, snow removal work is being carried out in residential courtyards.
