Revenues collected into state social insurance budget at 37.4% of annual plan

The revenues accumulated in the state social insurance budget in the first four months of this year came to 9.873,3 billion lei, which is 37.4% of the annual plan of 26.400,5 billion lei, says a report by the National House of Social Insurance that is quoted by IPN.

The mandatory state social insurance contributions added up to 4.933,6 billion lei or 32.7% of the annual sum projected at 15.080,1 billion lei, an increase of 10.8% or 480.2 million lei compared with the corresponding period of 2020.

Other revenues collected into the state social insurance budget totaled 88.8 million lei, with 86.9 million lei of this sum being the common tax levied from residents of IT parks.

The transfers from the state budget came to 4.850,9 billion lei, according to the financing requests. Of this amount, 3.080,9 billion lei is intended for paying social benefits and other welfare. These accounted for 41.8% of the projected sum of 7.375,5 billion lei, an increase of 19.3% or 498.2 million lei on a year before. A sum of 1.770,0 billion lei is intended for covering the own deficit of incomes that represented 48% of the annual sum planned at 3.687,7 billion lei.

The total expenditure of the state social insurance budget in the period was 9.361,8 billion lei or 35.5% of the annual sum projected at 26.400,5 billion lei, up 17.2% or 1.373,8 billion lei compared with the corresponding period last year.

The total revenues in four months exceeded total expenditure of the state social insurance budget by 511.5 million lei.
