The Respect Moldova Movement was registered as a participant in the October 20 constitutional referendum advocating for the “yes” option.

Nicolae Cicareov was confirmed as the party’s representative to the CEC for the period of the referendum, as Alina Scutaru is the party’s registered treasurer.

Earlier, the Central Electoral Commission registered the Communist Party, advocating for the “no” option, and the Ecologist Party, to campaign for the “yes” option.

Political parties and electoral blocs may seek registration to campaign at the referendum until September 20. Unregistered entities must stay out of the campaign and may not even promote boycotting.
