Resignations at Supreme Court of Justice and Appeals Court

A number of judges of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) and the Appeals Court leave the system. Their resignations were accepted by the Superior Council of Magistracy on Tuesday, February 14. Among these judges are four members of the Superior Council of Magistracy, IPN reports.

The resignations were tendered by the SCJ judges Liliana Catan, Victor Boico, Victor Burduh, Svetlana Filincova, Iurie Diaconu, Ala Cobăneanu, as from March 1, judge Elena Cobzac, as from March 13, judges Galina Stratulat, Iurie Bejenaru, Ghenadie Plămădeală, Maria Ghervas and Nadejda Toma, as from March 31, and judges Liuba Pruteanu and Maria Guzun, of the Chisinau Appeals Court.

The four members of the Superior Council of Magistracy who resigned are Anatolie Galben, of the Chisinau Appeals Court, Victor Micu, Luiza Gafton and Petru Moraru, of the SCJ.
