The leader of the Political Party “Our Party” (PPPN) Renato Usatyi, who was elected mayor of Balti by the first round of the local elections on June 14, said the party’s candidates in the second round of voting won the elections in the towns of Basarabeasca, Comrat, Ceadir Lunga, Vulcanesti, Soldanesti, Falesti, Glodeni, Drochia, Floresti, and Donduseni. “Regretfully, we lost in Soroca, while in Edinet the situation is yet unclear,” the politician said in a news conference, quoted by IPN.

“As regards the incident reported in Racovat, in which the candidate of the Liberal Democratic Party would have been beaten by our candidate, they say that in reality this candidate had an accident and decided to present everything as beating. However, our candidate won. Of the 47 settlements where our candidates ran in the second round, we won in 32 of these,” stated Renato Usatyi.

The leader of the PPPN noted they will demand annulling the results in Tvardita, Taraclia, where their candidate didn’t manage to stage his election campaign because he was informed that he will be able to run much later. “Add Rascani and Balti to the aforementioned towns. In these towns we won the elections earlier. We will develop all these settlements,” said Renato Usatyi.

The politician is sure that parliamentary elections will be held soon and the PPPN will win at least 70% of the vote in them, in the northern and southern districts of the country.
