The leader of the Our Party Renato Usatyi, who returned to Moldova three days ago, said he supports the new Government led by Maia Sandu and the parliamentary coalition formed by the Party of Socialists and the Bloc ACUM, IPN reports.

The former mayor of Balti stated he will invite President Igor Dodon and the leaders of ACUM Andrei Năstase and Maia Sandu to discussions as that they combine forces and fully eliminate the Plahotniuc regime and its corrupt branches.

In a news conference on June 18, Renato Usatyi said that before the formation of the historical parliamentary majority and of the new Government, the leader of the Democratic Party Vlad Plahotniuc was considered the master of this country who controlled everything  - the business community, the judiciary and the prosecutors. While being in Moscow and in the EU, he took measures to dismantle the regime established in Chisinau.

The politician said he returned to Moldova taking the risk of being arrested, even if he was informed that not only Vlad Plahotniuc, but also the “managers” who controlled the prosecution services and the courts of law left the country.

He noted that all the cases against him were started by order when it became clear that his party was popular with the voters. He returned home to complete what he initiated in 2014. As his party didn’t enter Parliament, he is ready to support the current parliamentary coalition.

In another development, the leader of the Our Party said that according to his information, Ilan Shor is in Israel and is not in Moldova.

Renato Usatyi left Moldova in September 2016. In October, the Centru branch of the Chisinau City Court issued a warrant for his arrest and he was later put on the wanted list.
