After launching his campaign prior to the presidential election a few days ago, Renato Usatyi already started to divide portfolios. The politician announced several names for the posts of presidential adviser, including Alexandr Berlinschii, former secretary of the Central Election Commission, IPN reports.
Alexandr Berlinschii was proposed for presidential adviser, responsible for organizing snap parliamentary elections. For his part, he said that he chose to be part of Renato Usatyi’s team because it is a crucial moment for the Republic of Moldova, a moment when there is a chance to choose a better future, to bring to the helm of the country a visionary leader, ready to listen to and act in the interest of every citizen.
“Throughout my tenure, I obeyed the law. We promoted transparency, human rights and democracy. I helped organize two presidential elections, three parliamentary elections, three local elections, a national referendum. The organization of an electoral process is the only national exercise that involves the largest number of participants,” said Alexandr Berlinschii.
One of Moldova’s leading farmers Sergei Ivanov was proposed for presidential adviser in charge of agriculture. “I have convinced myself that it is very important to be listened to. I am personally tired of seeing that under the pretext of the word “Europe”, we are impoverished day by day. We are cheated, lied to and we are not allowed to work. I put my trust in Renato Usatyi and his team. He is the only politician in our country who can to listen to the voice of farmers. We need radical ideas and projects, including in agriculture, and we need a man who listens to us,” stated Sergei Ivanov.
Renato Usatyi’s team will also include lawyer Igor Pohilă and businesswoman Olesea Vîrtosu, who has 16 years of professional experience and currently manages a private company.
Renato Usatyi, who comes third on the ballot according to the preliminary order, is supported in the presidential election by the Political Party “Our Party”, which he leads.
