Renato Usatîi admits possibility of ‘compromise alliance’ with PAS and BECS

The leader of the Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatîi” said an extended coalition between his bloc, the Party of Action and Solidarity and the Socialist-Communist Bloc is possible, but without Igor Dodon. Renato Usatîi noted that if the three political entities are present in the future Parliament, they all should take part in governance and a ‘compromise alliance’ should be formed, IPN reports.

Renato Usatâi is sure that PAS will not gain an absolute majority in the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, while the next government will be a coalition one. He does not rule out the possibility that a PSRM-PAS alliance will be formed by the model of the PSRM-ACUM coalition of 2019.

“Today the PAS is 80% formed of the PLDM and only the leaves of the oak tree are yellow. PAS can form yet another alliance with the Socialists. PAS will not have a majority of seats and this is definite, but I know for sure with whom we will not form an alliance. An alliance with thieves of billions and with those with “bags” is out of the question,” Renato Usatîi stated in the program “Natalia Morari’s Politics” on TV8 channel.

Renato Usatîi noted he admits the possibility of a broad alliance between PAS, PCRM-PSRM and his bloc, but such an alliance would be possible only after Dodon is withdrawn from the Party of Socialists.

“After the elections, the Russians will withdraw Dodon from the leadership of the party as Dodon is a millstone that pulls the party under the water and the bloc with Voronin was created in a move to prevent the party from sinking fully. If there are only these three entities - PAS, PSRM-PCRM and Usatîi – the ideal variant is to undertake by several ministries and to start work. If these three entities enter Parliament, they should all take part in governance. If Dodon, Țârdea leave PSRM and reasonable persons remain, we can work together,” stated Renato Usatîi.

In the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, the Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatîi” will be under No. 3 on the ballot. Under the law, the election threshold for electoral blocs is 7%.
