By Tuesday, April 12, the Central Election Commission is to receive the list of all the candidates who will form part of district electoral councils. The deadline for setting up the councils is April 15, while the registration of the election runners will most probably begin next Monday. The four parliamentary parties have already fielded their candidates who will serve on these councils. The local administrations and the second-level authorities will do the same by April 12, the Commission’s secretary Andrei Volentir has told Info-Prim Neo. After they are created, the district electoral councils, within 24 hours, must make public the place and day when the election contenders will start to be registered. “The election runners will be able to submit documents for registration from next Monday, April 18,” said Andrei Volentir. There will be constituted 37 district electoral councils. They will consist of seven to 11 persons proposed by the district courts and councils, plus one member repressing the parliamentary parties.
