Register of Territorial-Administrative Units will be compiled until this yearned
A database on Moldova’s territorial-administrative units – the Register of Territorial-Administrative Units – will be created by the end of this year. The software was worked out in 2008 and the database is now being compiled, said Valeriu Ganju, the deputy director of IS Cadastru, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
“The register is necessary for the central and local public authorities and for the general public, especially the persons that will carry out transactions with real estate. The register will contain information about the borders of the territorial-administrative units, the borders of their property, the addresses of the constructions and space leased out as well as other essential information, the deputy director of IS Cadastru said.
The cadastre electronic archive will be also created until this yearend. The archive will help avoid cases when the property involved in transactions, for example is pledged, is put up for sale. The procedure for obtaining information will be significantly simplified, officials of the state-owned company said.
The errors made in drawing up cadastre plans and including information in the Real Estate Register will be corrected during the year. Valeriu Ganju said that different mistakes were made when recording the over 4 million lands and buildings and ownership rights over them (of the 5.5 million existing in Moldova).
“It is natural when so many lands and buildings are recorded and when they are assessed en masse. The mistakes relate to the incorrect writing of the name of the owner and of the address of the property, the doubling in the cadastre number and errors made in working out the project to manage the territory, the incorrect position of the land indicated in the legal documents, etc.,” the deputy director of IS Cadastru said. He also said that 23,000 different errors were rectified in 2008 and the given work will continue.
