The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection worked out the mechanism for authorizing placement centers for refugees through the agency of the National Social Assistance Agency. The authorization enables these centers to benefit from the reimbursement of costs from the state budget, IPN reports.
The costs eligible for reimbursement are for: accommodation conditions – beds, personal hygiene items, protective masks, disinfectants, diapers, powdered milk for small children, food products or catering services. bonuses to salary.
In a number of districts of the country, over 40 placement centers for refugees were organized ad-hoc by the local authorities, social assistance divisions, nongovernmental organizations. Thousands of people found shelter at such centers the last few days. Eleven such centers have been authorized by now in Ocnița, Bălți, Glodeni, Comrat, Ștefan Vodă, Cimișlia, Călărași, Strășeni, and Basarabeasca.
