Those who are entitled to allowances for temporary incapacity for work can collect the money from payment service providers - post offices and banks. The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) said the first part of the associated costs, of 36.8 million lei, was allocated, IPN reports.

The CNAS reminds the recipients of temporary incapacity for work whose medical certificates are yet processed that the status of the certificate can be checked online. The given service can be accessed through www.cnas.md from the button “Status of the medical certificate” by entering the series and number of the certificate.

This way, the recipients can see at what stage the examination of the certificate is, if the data from the medical certificate were received and are being processed, if the decision to set the allowance for temporary incapacity for work was approved or if the allowance was transferred to the payment service provider.

Amounts totaling 1,327 billion lei were transferred by March 6 for paying pensions, financial support, death benefit, allowances, lump sums and compensations.
