The Cabinet led by Prime Minister Dorin Recean comes together for its first meeting on Friday. The agenda of the meeting consists of 12 items, IPN reports.
The Cabinet is to approve the national program to extend and rehabilitate forests for 2023-2032 and the national agriculture and rural development strategy for 2023-2030 and to decide the allocation of funds for covering the costs associated with the national rescue and search team’s participation in the earthquake rescue efforts in Turkey.
The ministers will also examine the bill to approve the signing of the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the United States, the abrogation of a Government decision and the ratification of Amendment No. 1 to the Financing Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the International Development Association on the implementation of the Emergency COVID-19 Response Project, which was signed on December 22, 2022.
Among the items on the agenda are the bills to amend the law on the informing of consumers about food products and the law on postal communications and the bill on paid internships in the public sector.
