Raions put off presenting information regarding TAV payment by agricultural producers

The Republican Union of the Agricultural Producers Associations “UniAgroProtect” is unpleased with the fact that local authorities delay presenting information to the specialized institutions, namely the documents which would confirm the farmers paid the tax-added value (TAV) when purchasing pesticides and fertilizers. As a consequence, TAV reimbursement to the rural economic agents is put off. The secretary of “UniAgroProtect”, Alexandru Slusari, declared for Info-Prim Neo the there is no legislative stipulation regarding the periodicity of information presenting to the Ministry of Agriculture and Alimentary Industry. In these conditions, the local authorities do not present operative information. The situation is getting more complicated because the collected information is sent to the Ministry of Agriculture in written form not via internet. This procedure is generating unjustified delays on TAV reimbursement. Alecsandru Slusari mentions that according to the last week’s data the state gave back the agricultural producers only 8.5 million lei of 9.3 million, declared as TAV payments, in other words by 1 million lei less. The Ministry of Agriculture and Alimentary Industry, Anatolie Gorodenco recently declared at a work meeting called up by the Prime-Minister Vasile Tarlev that the state reimbursed the tax-added value for about 400 economic agents of the agricultural area for purchasing pesticides and fertilizers. At the same meeting, the Minister of Finance informed the Prime-Minister that the TAV reimbursement is performed according to established terms, without any delays.
