Before the holidays, teams of the Consumer Protection Agency will carry out raids at markets to check the conditions in which the food and nonfood products are sold, IPN reports.

The decision was taken after consumers complained that the products are kept in inappropriate conditions and that some of them have the use-by date expired, the Agency informed in a communiqué.

The inspections will continue until January 16. The Agency recommends the consumers not to buy products from unauthorized places or products whose quality is doubtful.
