Radu Albot has won the Liuzhou Challenger of China. The Moldovan tennis player in the final beat Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, IPN reports.
Earlier, Albot defeated Te Rigele of China, Lee Duck Hee of South Korea, Di Wu of China and India’s Prajnesh Gunneswaran. He currently takes the 89th place on the ATP rankings.
Radu Albot took part in the Liuzhou tournament for the first time. This was the first men’s competition and the third women’s competition of the kind. The 28-year-old athlete will get US$ 7,000 in prize money.
